Hello,
I would like to take a little time to tell you about (myself) your child's teacher...
I graduated from Cornell High School in 1983. Shortly after graduation, I headed off to school to complete my generals in the big town of Eau Claire. I wasn't sure really what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. A few years later, I decided to begin my education into the "Early Childhood Education" program. After completing my schooling, I enjoyed working as a teacher in a preschool setting and I knew I wanted to do more. I went back to school once again and continued to move up the educational ladder until graduating from Mount Scenario College with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education Pre-K - 6th grade.
I currently live in Cornell with my husband Rich, whom is a Materials Management at WS Darley located in Chippewa Falls. We are blessed with three boys, Ben, Travis, Ty, and of course our wonderful dog Augi. As a family we enjoy sports, fishing, camping, and the great outdoors. In my free time, I have a passion for reading, watching movies, going for walks in the woods, and spending time with family and friends.
Cornell Elementary School is a great place to teach and learn! I have been a teacher at Cornell since the fall of 2000. I have worked with various grade levels over the years. I'm an energetic and creative person who loves working with students! I like to make our experiences and investigations adventurous and bring new ideas into our classroom. I value my room as a place where students are able to express their ideas and feelings in a safe and respected way. It is my hope that all of the students, parents, and staff that I work with can tell how much I care about my students and their educational experience.
